DCM 0987: Paolo Maino Flute in C

Medium: Boxwood, animal horn cap and ferrules, brass keys.; 69.6 cm. (without cap)
Key Holes System: 11 keys, modern style key cups, with pewter plugs over metal-lined holes for low C#, C, B. Pin in brass-lined blocks.
Mark Maximum: (5-pointed star) / P. MAINO / A MILANO / (5-pointed star)
Mark Additional: Mark on head, barrel, lower, upper body
Condition: Missing upper portion of cap. Head joint, upper section, severely cracked both cross grain and parallel to grain. Barrel cracked.
