Summary
Karen Freeman visited the Municipal Gilgit Library on Monday, July 9. She was accompanied by other USAID staff and the staff from the Ambassador’s Fund Program. A the library, she met with Deputy Commissioner of Gilgit, Mr. Arqam and library staff, toured a photo display, and had an informal discussion with the library staff and community members about the USAID-funded project. Library staff showed the equipment funded by USAID (computers, internet, scanners, etc). The visit concluded by a Q & A session with media.
