Dilator (HOME 1870) - Homestead National Monument of America
Summary
Dilator. The end of the wire on each side forms a rounded rectangle to be placed inside the nose. The wire is bent into a circle at the back to form a spring. Approximately in the center of either side is another circle formed by bending the wire, these are grips for a finger and thumb. On one side the end of the wire has become unsoldered.
