DONA ANNA RANGE, NEW MEXICO– Air Force 2nd Lt. Kyle
Summary
DONA ANNA RANGE, NEW MEXICO– Air Force 2nd Lt. Kyle Oestreich does pushups while waiting for his fellow Air Force Ranger Assessment candidates to find their equipment April 20. The candidates were required to show the Ranger Instructors various equipment items in a satisfactory amount of time. When the candidates moved too slow they were “scuffed up” by the cadre. Twenty-four Airmen are here to take part in the 15-day Air Force Security Forces Center Ranger Assessment Course 16-1. The physically and mentally challenging course will determine which Airmen, if any, receive a slot to attend U.S. Army Ranger School. Oestreich is stationed at Hurlburt Field, Florida.
