Dr. Herbert O. Calgery will be promoted from Senior Pharmacologist to Chief of the Division of Pharmacology of the Food and Drug Administration on October 1, the Department of Agriculture says. He succeeds Dr. Erwin E. Nelson, who was granted a leave of absence from the Univ. of Michigan in January 1935 to organize and develop a Pharmacological Division in the Food and Drug Administration.
