Ejected casings of 5.56 mm ammunition and belt links pile up after several courses of fire from an M249 squad automatic weapon May 8 in the Central Training Area. Bulk fuel Marines executed a quarterly Marine Corps common skills training evolution designed specifically for their military occupational specialty. The Marines trained with M249 SAWs and M240B medium machine guns to provide security in a forward deployed environment. The Marines are with Bulk Fuel Headquarters Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
