Electronics Technician John Morgan Jr. of Weeksville, North Carolina secures the Aerostat balloon before lift off at the Aerostat test Bed on McGregor range, New Mexico. The aerostat which was borrowed from the Air Force can elevate to 15,000 feet above sea level and will be able to track fast moving aircraft and Cruise Missiles with a range up to 150 nautical miles by radar, which is located under the belly of the aerostat. The aerostat will be used by Blue (friendly) Force during Roving Sands '96
