Manuscripts with detailed watercolor views and a plan of the Spanish fort at St. Augustine, Fla., written by an Englishman, apparently a first-hand witness, three years after the failed attempt of Governor Oglethorpe to capture St. Augustine's main fort, at a time when Englishmen were barred from Spanish Florida. Includes a south prospect of St. Augustine Castle; plan of St. Augustine Castle; north prospect of Look Out; east prospect of St. Augustine Castle; and south prospect of Fort Matanzas.
