PACIFIC OCEAN (Sep. 17, 2012) Ensign Jose Gandia, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85), cleans and inspects an M-240B machine gun in the ship's armory. McCampbell is part of the George Washington Carrier Strike Group based out of Yokosuka, Japan and is participating in Valiant Shield 2012, an integrated joint training exercise that combines Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps forces at sea.
