Evacuees from Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, wait for rooms aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., Oct. 2, 2016. Approximately 700 evacuees arrived from NS Guantanamo Bay after a mandatory evacuation in preparation for Hurricane Matthew. Hurricane Matthew was a category 4 hurricane that formed in the Western Atlantic Ocean and affected the Haiti, eastern Cuba, and the Bahamas before moving up the east coast of the United States.
