Milhorn visited construction sites in Puerto Princesa checking on Philippine and U.S. military members' progress, morale and presenting selected service members with 130th Brigade coins. The Philippine and U.S. service members are constructing new classrooms at five schools on Palawan during Exercise Balikatan 2012 (BK12), an annual bilateral training exercise aimed at improving Philippine and U.S. military force interoperability during planning, contingency, and humanitarian assistance operations. BK12 officially begins April 16, 2012 and is expected to conclude on April 27, 2012.
