There are two fire escape ladders at each end of the building. Attached to the fire escape ladders is a pipe with valves (faucet) at each fire escape ladder well. The first floor consists mostly of stores with their own unique window advertisements and displays. A man is standing in front of the "wines & liquor" store. To the right of the building is a small shack on the corner of an empty lot. The lot is littered with debris. To the left is Hotel Lexington.; Legible signs include: "Lexington Hotel", "Holmes Book Co.", "Land & Lee's Dictionary", "the Lexington cafA(c)", "last week price 75AC/", "note books", "law and medical", "school books", "regular meals, 25AC/", "Hotel Rosslyn dining parlors", "the Hotel Rosslyn", "R.D.
