Matching negative: NINO F Scholten Sarona 4: 098.Dating includes the entire period Frank Scholten was in the Middle East. The negative belonging to this photographic print was annotated with "Sarona IV". Sarona was German Templer colony that was established in 1871. Germans were interned here during World War II. The assembly building bombed by Irgun on 16-05-1943 and the Mayor was assassinated by Palmach on 22-05-1946. It was sold to the Tel Aviv municipality in 11-1948.Title devised from content by Library Staff. Sizes are derived from the negative; Photographic print is a section of that.
