FBI director - Defense imagery management operations center

Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Robert S. Mueller III, crosses the quarterdeck of USS Frank Cable (AS 40) after a brief visit on board. Mueller became the FBI's sixth director in September 2001. As Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet's only operational submarine tender, Frank Cable readily deploys to ports throughout the Western Pacific to provide services to both submarines and surface ships in the Seventh Fleet area of responsibility.
