Fields of fire are viewed from an observation point using this, a Lightweight Laser Designated Range Finder (LLDR,) during an Artillery Systems Cooperation Activities (ASCA) range between Troopers assigned to Field Artillery Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment and German Soldiers from the 131st German Artillery Battalion at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, located near Rose Barracks, Germany, Mar. 16, 2016. The purpose of this event was to conduct partnership operations with German and US Army artillery units while enabling each nation's Soldiers to experience cooperative and cohesive multinational training.
