Yankeetown, FL (July 22) -- SN Michael Smith of Station Yankeetown directs a fire pump onto the trees of the Izaak Walton Lodge to help extinguish a fire in the historic 75-year-old building. "Although the smaller building was total loss, Coast Guard efforts along with the land-based firefighters saved a major portion of the main section of the historic building as well as a docked vessel and other nearby waterfront properties," said Yankeetown Fire Chief Rob Kubistek.
