Summary
One of a series of photos recording a First Aid Class run by Dr Rogers. This is a picture of a hardback anatomy book displaying the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles of the calf. Tough connective tissue at the bottom of the calf muscle merges with the Achilles tendon. The Achilles tendon inserts into the heel bone (calcaneus).
