Summary

The University of Washington held Campus Day every spring, starting in 1904. In the early years, male students planted trees, repaired the tennis courts, graded lawns, and did other chores to improve the campus.
In this photo, taken during World War I, women students in the Campus Day Hospital Corps practice giving first aid to some of the workers.
