Summary

Spring in Washington, D.C. is one of the most beautiful times to visit the Nation’s Capital; it is also the busiest. The warmer weather and blooming of plants makes Capitol Hill picturesque and inviting.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival takes place from March 20 – April 27, 2012. Located in the Senate Parks across from the Russell Senate Office Building (bordered by Constitution Avenue, Louisiana Avenue, Delaware Avenue and Union Statue), are more than 105 cherry trees. In addition, some of the area’s oldest cherry trees are located by the West Front of the Capitol.
