Florida Emergency Mortuary Operations Response System (FEMORS) team member Amy Lowsciale takes fingerprints of a cadaver being processed at the Morgue Operations Center during the FEMORS Hurricane Exercise (HUREX) Drill at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starke, Fla., on May 18, 2016.The FEMORS HUREX Drill was an first of its kind operational drill designed to establish a learning environment for FEMORS, District Medical Examiner offices (District 4 and District 8), the Florida CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) and 254th Transportation Company to exercise emergency response plans, policies, and procedures as they pertain to fatality management response.
