FORT LEE, Va. -- Command Sgt. Maj. Nathaniel Bartee Sr., Combined Arms Support Command CSM, and senior enlisted leaders from the logistics training schools at Fort Lee as well as CSM Mike Perry, the incoming CASCOM CSM, raise their arms in celebration as they pass through spraying water along B Avenue during the installation’s annual Army Birthday Run June 14. Well over 1,500 troops – including Airmen from the 345th Training Squadron, Marines from MCD-Fort Lee, medical personnel from Kenner Army Health Clinic, garrison support staff and others – participated in the event that concluded with remarks from Bartee and the formation singing Happy Birthday and the Army Song.
