Summary

Fort Ruby and the nearby Ruby Valley Pony Express Station, are within the Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge. This is a land shaped by water and surrounded by arid hills. These springs and grasslands are home to many animals including migrating ducks as well as a small fish that lives no where else!
