Fragment (Egypt), 10th–12th century (CH 18555065)

Narrow horizontal band, the center of which is embroidered with stylized floral forms in blue, green, red and yellow silk. Edges are embroidered in a geometric pattern. Trimmed with fragments of slit tapestry.
