This general view of Mullingar is one where it may prove difficult to identify places or indeed the location. As we try to oblige our viewers where possible this is in response to a request by "Jack the Stroller" so here goes!..Despite our feeling that this might difficult and "changed utterly", the StreetView ( https://www.google.com/maps/@53.5258266,-7.3322599,3a,56.7y,271.9h,85.62t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1srRbKH0sGKQLSnqQeMh3XNQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 ) found by BeachcomberAustralia ( /photos/beachcomberaustralia/ ) and corroberated by sharon.corbet ( /photos/scorbet/ ) is somewhat recognisable. At least for the spires and larger buildings in the distance. Which match up accurately.
