GULF OF ADEN (Aug. 28, 2015) U.S. Marine Cpl. Oscar Sotomeza, left, supervises Sgt. Sotomeza is a rifleman and Gallegos is an intelligence specialist both assigned to Headquarters and Service Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
