Gunnery Sgt. Louis Pope, a reconnaissance Marine with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force, sourced from Force Reconnaissance Company, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, prepares to read the Medal of Honor citation for Navy Lt.
