Gunnery Sgt. Wilmer Vierra, an artilleryman assigned to 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment in Twentynine Palms, instructs role players in weapons handling during Marine Corps Security Cooperation Team (MCSCT) 15.1's certification exercise Dec. 3. The exercise is designed to incorporate all of the training imparted to MCSCT 15.1 by Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group in the previous four weeks of the training package. Team 15.1 is scheduled for a six-month deployment to the Central America Region in support of the Marine Corps' security cooperation mission.
