Hale's Tavern, Wells River, Vermont; from a 1915 postcard published by Hale's Tavern, Wells River, Vermont. It was built in 1895 to replace the Coosuck House, an old hotel which burned three years before. Hale's Tavern was torn down in 1956. Was Owned by John Necelson Sakelaris who sold it to the Gulf Oil Company in 1956.
