Handscreen with a paper leaf and turned wood handle. Obverse: oval medallion with a hand-colored engraving of a woman flanked by a hunter and a woodsman in the woods, surrounded by hand-painted birds, butterflies, etc. Reverse: dialogue from the comic opera "Les solitaires de Normandie."
