Summary
The Coast Guard Cutter YOCONA, one of three Navy "Diver" class vessel, heads home after a patrol in the Pacific. Transferred from the Navy in 1946, YOCONA served until 1996. During its 50-year career, YOCONA conducted 153 law enforcement boardings, prosecuted ten search and rescue cases, including the rescue of 10 survivors of a downed U.S. Navy P5M seaplane that had ditched 110 miles off the Oregon coast.
