Summary

(From left) Tech. Sgt. Darren Davlin, Maj. Gen. Daryl Bohac, Maj. Scott Henrickson, Col. John Williams, Chief Master Sgt. Jeffrey Horne, Pfc. Alexa Nelson and Senior Airman Avery Prai of the Nebraska Air and Army National Guard pose in front of a Nebraska Air National Guard KC-135R Stratotanker from the 155th Air Refueling Wing in Lincoln bearing a specially-made noseart celebrating the 25th anniversary of the State Partnership Program between the Czech Republic and the Nebraska and Texas National Guard. The group was preparing to depart Lincoln, Nebraska, Oct. 24, for a flight to Prague where members of the Nebraska National Guard team and a similar group from the Texas National Guard would be participating in a weekend celebration marking the Czech Republic’s 100th anniversary of statehood. The SPP relationship between the Czech Republic military and the Nebraska and Texas National Guard was first established on July 14, 1993, as the Czech Republic was beginning its efforts to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Since then the partnership has grown and matured into an enduring effort that is helping build the capacity of all three organizations.
