Summary

Wharf pilings

With the 1899 construction of the White Pass and Yukon Route Railway in nearby Skagway and the demise of the gold rush, parts of the planking disappeared from the wharf. The White Pass railroad purchased the tramway system (linked to the wharf) and dismantled all by the pilings.
