YONKERS. -7 Mansion House on South Broadway to New Main Street.— This is part of the original Lane leading to GuionsMills. The name Guion Street had been attached to the whole of that lane for some years before 1808 and1869, but we have just shown that in these two yearsNepperhan Avenue was substituted as a designa-tion for most of it. See No. 3. 5. The present Nepperhan Street (wholly differentfrom Nepperhan Aventie), extending from Buena VistaAvenue, opposite the Hudson River Railroad Station, to the junction of Dock Street and Warburton Avenue.—This is part of what the map of 1813 represented asa road leaving the Post road, and running round theedge of the Saw-Mill River to the sloop wharf, justbelow the old grist-mill. On the map of 1843 it stillappears without change. But it has since been ex-tended westward to Buena Vista Avenue. To makeclear this street and some others near at hand, butsubsequently opened, we have already given an en-larged map of the spot and its vicinity as
