NEW AMSTERDAM, Guyana (Oct. 19, 2010) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Oscar Lopezbarrera, an X-Ray technician assigned to Fleet Surgical Team 2 embarked aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), prepares a woman for an X-Ray during a Continuing Promise 2010 medical civic action program in Orealla, Guyana. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard Iwo Jima are working with partner nation teams to provide medical, dental, veterinary and engineering assistance in eight countries.
