[Hurricane Katrina] Baton Rouge, LA, January 21, 2006 - Discussions with planning team members and local residents at the Louisiana Recovery Planning Day open house is one method used to gather public input that will identify priority recovery issues unique to each community. This event serves as the first of several opportunities for Louisiana citizens and organizations to join the local, state and federal initiative to create long-term recovery plans for rebuilding hurricane affected areas in Louisiana.
