Idaho Army National Guard Capt. Kenneth Mecham delivers

Idaho Army National Guard Capt. Kenneth Mecham delivers personal protective equipment to a Roma community July 2, 2020, in the northern region of Kosovo. Mecham, who is organic to the IARNG’s Installation Support Unit, is a liaison monitoring team chief in the Kosovo Force Regional-Command East’s effects battalion. Liaison monitoring teams are charged with supporting RC-E situational awareness and communication campaigns by working alongside local community authorities and non-government organizations. Amid the region’s ongoing response to COVID-19, RC-E troops continue to support all the people of Kosovo while adhering to preventative measures like wearing PPE. KFOR is a NATO-led multinational mission to provide freedom of movement and safety and security to all the people of Kosovo in accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244.
