GULF OF OMAN (Nov. 27, 2008) Jaqueline Easley, Yeoman Storekeeper of the Military Sealift Command dry cargo/ammunition ship USNS Lewis and Clark (T-AKE 1), right, takes a picture in the hangar bay with her daughter, Aviation Maintenance Administrationman 2nd Class Lavette Gonzalez, assigned to the "Valions" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 15, aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Easley visited Theodore Roosevelt to spend Thanksgiving with her daughter. Theodore Roosevelt and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 8 are on deployment in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility and are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
