Summary
Here's the VP giving remarks at the Port of New Orleans, with the Greater New Orleans Bridge in the background. At every step of the remarks-drafting process with policy and speechwriting staff, the Vice President likes to constantly remind us of the importance of explaining it so real people can relate, not using "bureaucrat-speak." (It can be a challenge for policy wonks.) It's his top priority for every speech. And I think our speechwriters knocked it out of the park on this one. -Don
