Joint Base Security Forces (JBSF) Airmen participate in circuit training workouts during the Police Week Ruck March, on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, May 19, 2019. According to the National Peace Officer’s Memorial Fund website, National Police Week was established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy to pay tribute to law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Ceremonies and observances are held annually throughout the U.S. in remembrance of fallen officers.
