Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center developed alternative training methods, such as the CD-based training solution for BI2F, that enable IAs to complete required training in remote areas of the world. Over 250 Navy personnel are serving in Afghanistan, of which about 160-170 directly perform tasks under the NATO-led mission RS to train, advise and assist Afghan security forces and institutions while others provide other real-world operational support.
