Lt. Kamil Zdulski, a platoon commander from Polish Company, Maneuver Battalion, Kosovo Force Regional Command East, joined the Polish Land Forces in 2011 and commissioned after his graduation from The General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Military University of Land Forces in Wroclaw, Poland.
“For me and a lot of Polish Soldiers, there is a pride and honor in serving” Zdulski said.
Zdulski is the first in his family to join the Polish Armed Forces. He started his military career in the Mechanized Infantry Battalion as a platoon commander prior to mobilizing to Kosovo in Nov. 2019.
As a platoon commander for the Polish Coy, he is charged with organizing his platoon’s patrols and creating an environment of cohesion for 30 Soldiers.
“There’s no problem doing the job if you live like a family” he said.
Zdulski said his biggest take-aways from his mission are the ability to practice his English and become a better leader.
Upon his return to Poland, he will serve as the battle staff operations officer for the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade in his hometown, Tomaszon Mazowiecki. He is married and has a 4-year-old son, Igor.
“I hope I have started a military tradition in my family, to serve in the Polish military” he said.
