Know Your Mil: A1C Phil Kapelewski

Emergency Management Apprentice Airman 1st Class Phil Kapelewski is a 32 year old Guardsman assigned to the 171st Air Refueling Wing Civil Engineering Squadron. Phil is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown Campus with a Bachelors of Political Science and History. Before enlisting in the Air National Guard, Phil worked as an Emergency Management and Technology Specialist with Cambria County as well as a Cyber Security Agent. Phil volunteers as a fire fighter in Richland Township where he, his wife, and their three-year old son live.
