Lance Cpl. Jody W. England assembles parts to a lightweight water purification system by flashlight, June 17, 2016, at Taurama Barracks, Papua New Guinea, during Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. England, one of two water purification specialists with the task force, has the responsibility of providing potable water for the task force when in country. The task force is participating in a multi-national, bilateral exercise with the Papua New Guinea Defence Force to increase interoperability and relations by sharing infantry, engineering, law enforcement and medical skills. England, from Casa Grande, Arizona, is a water purification with Task Force Koa Moana, originally assigned to Support Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
