Lance Cpl. Tyce Wuesthoff, a machine gunner with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, acts as a team leader during a live-fire exercise as part of Realistic Urban Training Marine Expeditionary Unit (RUTMEUEX) 14-1 at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., March 19. RUTMEUEX is the first opportunity for all elements of the MEU to integrate and train in preparation for the scheduled deployment. The ground combat element conducts a multitude of live-fire training events to hone and maintain their standard tactics.
