Lancet (HOME 1896) - Homestead National Monument of America
Summary
A lancet is a blood-sampling device. Two knives in brass case, which is hinged at one side. Manufactured by Joseph Allen and Sons, Sheffield England. Approximately 1/2" from the end of the blades are arrow head shaped cutting edges. Case is shaped to fit these. This item is crudely made.
