Summary

Lauren Bruner, a USS Arizona survivor, bids farewell to Rear Adm. Fumiyuki Kitagawa, JMSDF vice commander, Combined Task Force commander, Escort Flotilla 3, during his visit to Hawaii. Bruner and five fellow crewmen manned one of the Arizona's anti-aircraft gun batteries on the ship's port side during the attack. He was one of the last to leave the ship before she sank to the bottom of Pearl Harbor. Bruner is visiting Hawaii during Battle of Midway commemoration events.
