Letter from Amos Augustus Phelps, Boston, to Elizur Wright, March 10th 1834
Summary
Amos A. Phelps writes to Elizur Wright Jr. that he accepts the appointment made by the American Anti-Slavery Society. Mentioning that the board of managers of the New England Anti-Slavery Society voted to call for a New England convention and to open an office, he asks for the opinion of the executive committee of the American Anti-Slavery Society with regard to the organization of anti-slavery societies throughout the country. He then talks about a few antislavery meetings in Boston.
