description

Summary

G. Blair writes to Mary Anne Estlin on September 9th in regards to arrangements for Miss Pugh's visit to Bath. Blair hopes Estlin's reports have been well circulated and studied "& the good Ladies be..prepared to take up a more vigorous line of action than they have been pursuing for years past." The writer says that Richardson is continually urging the "Free Labour Movement" upon them. Her father was desiring some information on Liberia and suggests an article recently published on the subject. Mrs. Stephens writes to Mary Anne Estlin on September 16 in regards to receiving her letters and for anti-slavery news. She writes that she wishes she knew more of what was going on in America and writes, "I rejoice that this report is out and above all that is it well thought of and is doing good service."
