Summary
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, George Jeffrey Tillotson tells Phelps that he is "very pleasantly settled" in Brooklyn, Connecticut. He discusses the towns efforts to find a new school teacher and an execution scheduled for August where he will act as the "high sheriff to preach to t[he] assembled multitude." Tillotson also tells Phelps news about a number of college friends and where they are preaching.
