Summary

George Thompson writes to Richard Davis Webb in regards to his trip to Glasgow. He will leave copies of the "Non-Resistant" and the "Declaration" with William Smeal. He can only send him one of each. He writes that they held the Annual meeting for the Glasgow Society and W.Dawes, J.Keep, and C.L. Remond were the American speakers. He writes that Birney, Stanton, and Scoble will speak at a later session. He saw in Garman's farewell letter that Elizabeth Pease [Nichol] "seems quite in love with W[illiam].L[loyd].G[arrison]." Lucretia Mott holds a meeting in a Unitarian Chapel. Hannah Backhouse is also there and speaking at the meeting.
